Borgeson has sourced a modern Delphi integral power steering gearbox to replace the early 60’s Saginaw technology used in your 1994-2002 Dodge pick-up. The new Borgeson “Dodge Box” offers a larger piston diameter for more available power assist; quicker ratio for easier parking and less turns lock-to-lock and modern variable valve that allows for stable highway driving and effortless parking and maneuvering. The Borgeson “Dodge Box” will bolt directly to the stock mounting location fit the original pitman arm and even work with your stock hoses and pump. The Borgeson “Dodge Box” will include an adapter to work with all Borgeson replacement steering shafts; a Borgeson steering shaft will be required for installation of this steering box or a flat must be ground on the steering box adapter to fit your stock shaft. Fits all 1994-2002 Dodge Full Size trucks.  Please email me with any questions you might have about this steering box.  I have it on my truck and it really is a great product, and my price is the best you will find anywhere!

This fits all 4x4 models (1500, 2500, and 3500) from 1994 to 2001 (and 2002 2500 and 3500 models).  Your current pitman arm will bolt right up, however most steering braces will not fit because the sector shaft sits 3/8" more towards the center of the truck.  The Dodge Off Road steering brace is specifically designed to fit both styles of steering boxes.  Installation of the Borgeson box takes about 20 minutes in most cases.  The only special tool you need is a pitman arm puller.

Dodge Ram Borgeson Steering Box

Full size Dodge Pickups and Ramchargers have a type of steering coupler that has shown signs of wear in as little as 4000 miles, depending on how the truck is used. This wear causes play in the truck’s steering. It’s even more noticeable if your truck is used for plowing, towing or if oversized tires have been installed. Replacing the worn steering shaft with another OEM shaft only gives you a temporary fix. The Borgeson steering shaft assembly replaces the loose OEM parts with precision needle bearing u-joints and a telescopic shaft.  Don't just replace when you can upgrade!

This steering shaft is a great addition to any 2nd or 3rd gen Ram.  Those of you running body lifts can actually get rid of the shaft spacer and just run a solid steering shaft with this Borgeson unit, which will reduce a lot of play in your steering wheel.  Just about everybody will notice tighter steering with the installation of the Borgeson steering shaft, and it only takes about 5 minutes to put in.  Make sure to use a dab of threadlocker on the Allen screw that attaches the shaft to the firewall mount.  Specify year model when you order; these are available for 94 - 08 models.

The Cepek 4-link arms measure over 48 inches in length, allowing the front end to travel 10 inches, well beyond any link that could be mounted in the stock position. Highway ride becomes superior due to the new pivot point of the extended 4-link arms being mounted farther back on the frame. No more choppy rides due to short links in the stock mounting position. Kit will fit any manufactures 5"-7" kit for improved articulation and ride. Kit includes 4-control links, cab support brackets, frame pivot brackets, poly bushings and hardware. Will fit 1994-2001 1500 4 X4 and 1994-2002 2500/3500 4X4 trucks.  If you are running a 7 inch lift or above, these long arms will make your truck ride and perform 10 times better than with short arms.  We can also order them in custom lengths for those of you who have trucks with 10 inches of suspension lift or more.

I have personally run two sets of these control arms and will be putting them on my V10 as soon as possible.  They really do make a huge improvement in suspension travel and in highway comfort.  The installation is not difficult but will be somewhat time-consuming, as you need to notch out two body mounts with a hole saw (or plasma cutter) and then bolt in some support brackets.  Then you need to drill a couple of holes to mount the frame brackets about where your transmission crossmember bolts to the frame rails.  The nice thing is that you can do these two modifications and still leave your current control arms on the vehicle, so you can prep the truck for the long arms yet still be able to drive it to work every day if you need to.  This really is a great deal on an awesome addition to all 2nd gen Dodge Rams with at least 5 inches of suspension lift.
