There will be many new products

At last!  You have been searching for the perfect suspension lift for your 2nd gen truck, and you have found that you can either buy a very cheaply-made and poorly-designed "lift kit," or you can spend almost as much as your truck is worth and buy a top of the line suspension system.  Where is the middle ground?  For years, Ram owners have had to piece together our own lifts using parts from multiple manufacturers, often ordering from five or more sources to get the best parts from every kit out there.  But there was always the question of whether or not all of this stuff would work together, and who do you talk to when you have questions?  Dodge Off Road has always been a great source of info on piecing together lifts, and now we are stepping up to the plate to offer something that has been needed for years.

We are proud to announce our own line of suspension lifts for any 2nd gen Ram 4x4!  And these aren't just repackaged kits with our name on them like some companies do.  These are the brainchild of Dodge Off Road, and every part is hand-picked for your particular truck... not because of price, but because it is the best.  We started putting these together without cost in mind, but when we added everything up, the price was very comparable to the cheap "lift kits" that have flooded the market.  So you can really get a much better suspension for the same amount of money!  We've said for years that you don't have to pay a fortune to have a great suspension, and now we are going to prove it.

Not only are these packages priced much lower than top of the line kits, but they can also be customized to your budget and your truck.  We offer two lift heights: 5" and 7" over stock.  We also have options on the front coils, long arms, rear suspension, shocks, and sway bar, so you can really pick what you want and even delete items that you don't need to come up with a package that is literally made for YOUR truck!  This isn't a bunch of parts thrown together to make a quick buck.  All of these parts have been tested on and off road, and we only picked the best ones that have held up to years of abuse.  This is truly a kit made for Dodge owners by Dodge owners, and only years of real world experience with these trucks makes this kind of package deal possible.  We use what we sell, so we know it works!

Options

You can add long arms to the 5" kit, but you will need to cut the body mount quite a bit and reinforce it once you test for clearance.

Both 5" and 7" rear suspensions are available with full leaf packs or shackle flips.  Our shackle flip option is going to give you 6" of lift, so to use this on a 5" kit, you will need to remove the factory block.  This will give you a 3" lift over stock which will level the truck.  If you want more lift in the rear, we can make the zero rates an inch taller than normal to give you a 4" lift.  Those of you going with the 7" lift will use the shackle flip with your factory block to achieve the proper lift height in the rear suspension.

Any of these parts can be modified if needed, but your total will vary.  We can do anything you want - these packages were put together for people who just want to buy a kit that is already setup.  If you want to make changes to these kits, just send us an email and we will work with you to get exactly what you need.  We can remove or substitute any parts to get your kit setup perfectly for your truck.  We can also add any other parts from our site and give you a discount on the large order!

With both lifts, there are no driveshaft modifications needed.  On some trucks, the front driveshaft will just need to be clearanced at the ears with a 7" lift, but most trucks have no problem at all.  However, there are always exceptions and we do have some great options for solving driveline issues if you happen to have any.  Both kits come with extensive instructions and of course we offer excellent technical support (we can even inspect your truck using FaceTime if you have an iPhone!).  Both kits are relatively easy to install, with the hardest part being removing some of your stock components.  We recommend soaking all parts in PB Blaster at least a week prior to removal.  The hardest parts to remove are the control arm bolts on the axle, and many people have to cut them off to get them out.
