Unit bearings? Not sure what you're talking about. Carrier bearings?

Yeah you used to be able to get one with a lifetime warranty at NAPA. My local NAPA closed so I'm not sure if that is still an option. Other than that, they are all about the same. One brand uses Timken bearings and one is a little cheaper and uses generic bearings.

you should just buy my hub conversion parts and eliminate them.... wink wink nudge nudge

If you can get a lifetime warranty part I would just do that, but in reality there are no such things as good unit bearings. I would double check with Currie though, as I know they make upgraded unit bearings for the JKs, might make one for the D60, but I doubt it. If you run oversized tires you will just wear them out again. If you plan on keeping the truck more than a few more years, just pony up for a conversion now, saves money in the long run.

I wanna say the NAPA hubs were right around 300 each but that was back in like 2004, I haven't checked since then. That used to be the going price for all of them so the ones with a warranty were a great value. Now I don't know what the standard price is but they may be cheaper across the board.
